What remains within us of the places we leave and those we inherit? Through migration, family memory and the search for belonging, three films explore identities built between different territories and different histories.

Élodie Dermange
Élodie tries to learn more about her family’s Armenian roots. She interviews her father, uncle and great-aunt, uncovering a painful history in which violence and the inability to express love are passed down from one generation to the next.
The Sea Inside
Lia Letícia
Preto Sérgio keeps challenging power and searching for stories left in the shadows. Carried by favorable winds, he gradually unravels their threads, between the sea outside and the sea within.
Sarah Imsand
Ibrahim is a caretaker at an art school in Switzerland. One day, a student looking for Ethiopian songs for a project asks for his help. Her persistence forces Ibrahim to reconnect with his past and his origins.
