pont.E with you

Creating a screening with you, for your audience.

A cultural mediation programme through cinema, developed from the pont.E experience: films brought into dialogue around a question, mediation designed for your audience, and space for exchange.

Our approach

The film is not an end in itself.

It is the starting point for a conversation.

A pont.E screening brings several short films into dialogue around a shared question. The films open up perspectives, bring experiences to the surface and invite us to shift our point of view.

Our role is to create the conditions for this encounter: between the works, the people and the questions shaping their realities.

Who is pont.E for?

Schools & education

For teenagers, students, teachers and professionals in training. A screening can support film and media education, develop critical thinking, introduce or extend a topic explored in class, and create a space to learn how to watch, interpret and discuss together.

Municipalities, associations & community venues

To create a space where residents, association members or neighbourhood audiences can meet around questions that shape collective life: migration, memory, generations, identities, environment, participation…

Institutions & organisations

To open up collective reflection on diversity, representation, cooperation or intercultural dialogue, in a setting that values listening and a plurality of viewpoints.

THEMES

Questions to explore together.

Across its screenings, pont.E explores questions that run through our societies and individual experiences.

These themes reflect our curatorial journey. They can become the starting point for a new proposal — or we can develop another one from your context.

Our method

A screening created with you.

Before → During → After

01

Together, we identify the context, objectives, audience and questions you want to bring into the conversation.

02

We develop a tailored proposal: film selection, screening structure and mediation format.

03

When the context calls for it, we suggest ideas or resources to prepare the audience and introduce the theme.

04

We introduce the films and create connections between the works, the theme and the audience’s experiences.

05

We open a space for discussion and, depending on the project, the encounter can continue through resources, a guest or an additional activity.

In practice, who does what?

You

You introduce us to your context, audience and needs. You provide the venue and technical conditions required for the screening and engage your audience.

Le Renversé

We develop the curatorial proposal, identify the films and coordinate the screening permissions required, prepare the mediation and facilitate the event with your team.

Together

Together, we define the format, schedule and any adaptations needed for your context.

Indicative duration: around 2 hours, including screening and discussion.

pont.E beyond our walls

Changing location also means meeting new audiences, new territories and new ways of watching together.

Born in Lausanne, pont.E gradually moved beyond its usual setting to inhabit other spaces and meet new audiences. Today, pont.E chez vous extends this movement: creating a screening together with institutions that want to open up a conversation with their audiences.
